First of all,Iwould like to welcome everyone back to NCC after a long break for Mid-Year Examinations.As told,this Wednesday there is NCC training to refresh your mind and body after a long break from the Mid-Year Examinations and to train your body after slacking too long.

I am writing about my thoughts and reflections after attending the 57th Clt Course Pop(Cadet Liutenant Passing Out Parade) which is conducted at the Amoy Quee NCC HQ yesterday.Firstly,i would like to congratulate Sir Khairul and Sir Lutfil on successfully completing the course and promoted to the ranks of Cadet Liutenants.

The 57th Clt Course Pop was a grand event.The parade consisted of the GOH and Swiss Winds(Swiss Winds is a Military Band from Swiss Cottage Secondary).The GOH is represented by 4 groups which is respectively called Syndicate 1,2,3 and 4.The Cadet Trainees(Cdt) marched in with pride as the marching song is played by the Swiss Winds.The event was further graced with the arrival of our Senior Parliamentary Secretary,Ministry of Education and Ministry of Home Affairs,Mr Masagos Zulkifli who attended the event and gave us a deep and meaningful speech.

After the parade,it was the big party at the Multi-Purpose Hall.There was food and drinks provided and better still ice-creams.Guests were entertained by the performances by the Cadet Liutenants.After the final performance,the Cadet Liutenants went to the back of the hall and did a final war cry.They cryed "57 57 57!!".I felt that it was a memorable experience for them and i hope the new Clts would share with us what they have learnt during the course and we in turn,pass on to our juniors because it is a cycle of life for us in NCC.With that I will end here and I wish the new Clts all the best in serving NCC.

NCC Camp Evaluation

Hi Cadets,
Firstly I want to say a very BIG thank you for all of you who participates in my camp.
Although the camp is just 3D2N,I am sure that all of you have created a stronger bond among
yourselves through the activities that we had done together.As the O I/C,i am very glad
that all of you had follow my instructions.For the Part As,I hope you guys had roughly get
the picture of what NCC life is all about.It is all about fitness,fun,discipline and to persevere.
For the Part Bs,I had seen that all of you have the potential to be the future leaders and
you are more enthusiastic.For the Part Cs i had observed that during the camp,majority of
you had gave your best shot to show that you can be the next leader.I want to thank all seniors and TOs who gave me a lot of advise to become a better leader during the camp.Not forgetting,

First and foremost, i would like to congrats the Freestyle team for getting 5th place in the competition. Not only that, the team was also nomitated for the wildcard and the final. So, seriously, congrats!
Secondly, i'm here to remind the cadets to TRY and bring $20 on Wed. I really must emphasize the word 'TRY'. So it is not compulsory to bring $20 on Wed. You can pay by Wed, Friday or next Wed. Please remind those who did not attend last Fridays training to bring the money. I already placed orders for those who did not attend too. So, please TRY and bring the money on Wednesday. But my advice is the sooner you pay, the lesser pressure it is to remind yourself to bring the money. Plus, if you pay late, i'll hunt you down like packs of wolves. Haha.

Tommorow is the Freestyle Competition.Freestyle cadets,i am glad you have come this far and for that i thank you guys.Tommorow,Freestyle cadets report to school by 7.30am SHARP.Iron your uniform,put on your badges and polish or at least darken your boots.There is no need to bring gloves because only the IC will be wearing the gloves.Remember to have a good breakfast as most probably there will be no food provided at NCC HQ.Do NOT be late because we still need to rehearse and touch up on our performance.Please give your best at the competition tommorow.Be alert during the competition and all the best.
